Hi! Thank you for adding our website to your “member sites” list!! I was wondering if you could add Nyana to this current list (above) of Fundraising pages also! We are still in the process of trying to raise money through local fundraisers as well! If you need a press-release style info for her page just let me know. Thank you! I also want to ask you if you are just an awareness organization, or if you are categorized as an official I-503(c)non-profit federal organization? I was so enthralled to find this page in existance!! I was trying to set up an N.P.O. to help raise money for people on a national level, rather than individual fundraisers under a blanket organization. If you are established as an I-503(c) or if it is in the works, please let me know because I have already met with an accountant and started filling out paperwork to do so. We could be linked together if you want me to handle the donation-side of things! The name of the organization I came up with was H.O.G.’s…(HELP OTHERS GAIN) (and have flying pigs as our ‘mascots’ so-to-speak), because as I know you are aware, the fundraising is harder to obtain when there is no tax-deduction involved, especially getting bigger companies and foundations to donate. I liked the idea of HELP OTHERS GAIN because it’s a way for all types of illnesses to get the necessary cord blood stem cell treatments they deserve, in a national level. I believe pigs CAN FLY and these patients deserve the help they need to raise the funds for the over-seas procedures until our government gets on board! Please feel free to contact me further about this at nyanasmomma@yahoo.com or my cell phone is (630)740-8652
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH THIS ASSOCIATION!
Oh! I almost forgot, I have already written the Oprah Show in hopes that she will tackle this struggle along with us and help to air it to the nation! Please let me know if she does contact me for a show idea if you would be willing to be on the panel! (I’m sure you will but I wanted to ask!) The Non-profit will help because like I said, foundations like Oprah’s Angel Network would be more willing to donate to a tax-deductable org. **(Then as far as fundraisers go for individuals the non-pro would take any proceeds raised by that community or in that person/child’s name and be directly funded for their treatments!) What do you think? sorry for the long message!
